Run the Grandma Test: if you can't explain a concept to someone outside the industry, clearly, in about 30 seconds — it isn't ready to publish.
Your real audience isn't in the room. It's the career-changer, the plumber whose credentials live on paper, the student, the veteran translating military experience.
Picture the real person, translate the concept into something from their world, then lead with the benefit — not the mechanics — in plain, honest language.
